ALBERTO
ZAMPIERI
Alberto Zampieri was born in Venice in 1970.
After graduating in 1991 from the State School of Art in Venice, he worked as a graphic designer until 1995 and then as a sales representative of an advertising company.
In 1996 he decided to resume his studies and began attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, choosing to focus on sculpture.
He’s been living in Venice since June 2000 and he now works with the organizing team of the Venice Biennale.
The artistic and professional path of Alberto Zampieri passed through different stages: from an initial artistic production characterized by matters and colors, to the development of its approach to surrealism in sculpture and painting, and then performances during the open studios .
It’s an ongoing human and artistic growth.

In 1999 Alberto Zampieri had his first solo exhibition in Mirano (VE): “Contrario che non è”.
